07 sport trac Fuel pump replaced and still shutting off

Did you ever replace the fuel pump relay? When the truck shuts off is it due to the fuel pump losing power? Easy enough to check at the relay or listen for the pump

on a hr ride same problem came back shut down and also parked for 3 weeks for work came back started truck drove 10 minutes stopped again 2x I am at witts end its new used ecm and fuel pump and pcm and rail sensor I am running out of options truck only has 230km on it
Any other ideas I appreciate anyone
sounds like wiring/connector issue, and not a component issue.
wiggling wires whilst changing components temporarily fixed problem. Need to look at harness closely, wire insulation decays maybe there are shorts/opens in the wiring, not really an easy thing to find.....just a thought.
in the list of things changed I do not see fuel pressure regulator : or is that the rail sensor

I'll post back, sorry for the long delay.
New fuel pump, filter?(probably). Replaced Fuel pump driver module, this was rotted out anyways.
Turned out the ground from the fuel pump driver was bad. It caused it to overheat after like 30min then shut down. Next day, it would start backup fine and run for another 30-45min.

Possibly the electrical issues with the fuel pump driver module are manifesting themselves as new issues with the fuel pump relay? I would change the relay and see if anything changes
Also next time it shuts down check the power feeds back the driver module, see if you still have power coming in from the upstream, truck side of things

Thanks for updating, problem solved, faulty fuel pump driver module + wiring (ground), and some regular maintenance items changed while troubleshooting - right?

I am replaced fuel pump I thought was the issue of it just shutting down but same issue when driving for hr or 20 min car shuts off and when you turn key doesn't start like no fuel let it sit for 3 min and starts up will run for 10 seconds and shut off. Intermittent problem module under frame is new connecting to pcm and the fuel filter is new and the rail pressure sensor I am stuck anyone here have this issue.truck runs on spot for half hr no issue but when tirn it on again starts for 10 seconds shuts off please any help I appreciate
i had the exact same thing on my 2010 trac 4.6L. it was the relay for the PCM. it would start and run for a bit, then let go and the engine die. wait a few and it would start back up. after a few months of looking around, i replaced the relay. hasn't happened in 2 years.
