Been a while since I posted. Thought I would post up a few pics of my current ride.

Since my last post I got the front windows tinted to match the factory tint.

Put some Bosch headlight bulbs in.

And most obvious the rims.

KMC Slides

Little story..I was active on this forum about a year ago. Then at lunch one day I decided to drop in.

I notice this post http://www.explorerforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=284257

Chad is a cool guy we talked on the phone and the deal was done. He put the deposit on my KMC rims they came in he payed the balance and I sent him my Factory 20"s

Weird how it worked out. I wanted these rims ever since I seen them a year ago!!

NICE! Havent seen those rims before, really nice in the gloss black. There are some really stand up people on this forum. Purchased a set of stock 16's around a decade ago from someone on the forum.

I really like the Adrenaline rims but your KMC's look way better in my opinion and makes your truck stand out. One of the cleanest Ex's I have seen.

What size Pirelli's are you running and how do u like them? Put a set on my Pathfinder and so far they have been amazing.

Thanks for the compliment!!!

They are 255/50/20

I like them, been threw 1 winter in Michigan and they hook pretty good.

With Michigan roads and me being a hunter I need the extra rubber!

Very tasteful!

Nice lookin truck

lookin good keep up good work

Nice wheels, I've been looking at 20" KMC wheels and I keep getting different answers from different companies...1 says they'll fit and the next will say they won't so I'm afraid to pull the trigger. You'll probably think this is a stupid question but are these the KMC slides for the truck application or the passenger car application? One company was telling me that for the explorer I need the passenger car application which is why I ask.

Do you know off hand the dimensions you went with like backspace and offset? One more question, what color is your explorer? Some pictures it looks black and others it looks like that granite metallic color.

Sorry for all the questions, love the explorer.

You're beast is pure hotness.... Just don't like the style of the wheels... But love the matching black everywhere.

The Explorer is black in color

As far as the wheels go, I have a friend who is a MGR at Belle Tire.

I told him what I wanted and he ordered them.

They ARE truck/suv application, The version for the car is designed different.

They do fit fine, my friend called up KMC placed the order and they drilled em.

Took about 10 days :thumbdwn:

I would definitely stay away from the place that told you " you need a passenger/car application".

I love those rims...

I think those rims look too much like Cadillac wheels. I say go with factory option wheels

Those wheels look great on this color Explorer.
