Hey Stic-o dont feel bad I did that too when I first put in the auto....Locked em up on the higway doing about 60, I hit R for a split second, my brain said "hand what are you doing" and my hand went R-N-D "sorry" in about 1/2 a second.....
Yikes was that dumb....probably one of the many reasons my built A4LD didnt last a year

I guess the tranny going out is a good thing if you're getting a new tranny + engine. What vehicle are you getting the engine from? A 302 X?

Wow im surprised it lasted so long. mine crapped out at 116k. Doing the v8 swap is going to suck but trust me it will be worth it.

Well guys I'm not really sure it's gonna go down now. I need to get my truck running fast, like in less than two weeks. My dad is skeptical about if we can pull this off and make it work right. The thing that worries me is all the wiring and stuff. Me and him know basic stuff but we've never done anything so extensive. He thinks I'm getting in over my head, which I sort of feel like, but I really want to do this swap. I'm sort of torn.
