1991 explorer 4.0 ohv 200+ horsepower

Trying to get 50 up out of this beast ported insulated intake manifolds... stock airbox knn ported maf even... going with headers +1lb heavy injectors plugs insulated lines no thermostat .racing radiator real small belt might do no power steering electric fan+ can do electric water pump.gapped plugs 91 custom hi voltage ignition (volt booster on the low v end)...strait pipe.... small tires.... cold fuel..maybe a chip idk if they work. Fat throttle body..Stock bottom end manifold and cam..open loop ecu after smog...royal purple....this thing is completely gutted Aside from the seats. Am I forgetting something?


My question is with all that do u think I can expect any gains or do I actually need a power after like cam turbo ECT. Not looking to fly or anything but 150hp is getting old. Needs to pass ca smog..

youll wanna get a custom tune for sure... 200 hp at the wheels out of a ohv with no internal engine work though? yeaaaa i dont think so.
mine did 100hp/140tq at the wheels with a custom dyno tune, intake, headers, no cats egr delete.

yeah 100.7hp lol that was AFTER the tune. im not even gonna post the before number.
ive since swapped in a sohc. much happier. doubled my wheel hp.
