For the past few years when the temperature gets near freezing or lower, the radio/CD player in my 1991 Explorer doesn't work. The front panel doesn't even illuminate meaning no clock display or anything. Once the vehicle is nicely warmed up inside and the ignition is turned off and then turned back on again it works. Clock display returns and the radio/CD player function normally. The time on the clock and all my station presets are retained. Has anyone had a similar problem and are there fixes available for this?
