1999 ranger 4.0 0hv timing question

I took out the cam position sensor to change the o-ring. I installed the sensor as closely to the position before I took it out. I now want to check the timing but not sure how. the sensor timing on the scanner reads 19 degrees at idle.

If you didn't disconnect the battery during installation it may be worth doing to reset the computer. If you put a good sensor where a bad sensor was, I wouldn't think it'd be perfect from the get go. But if it's starting and idling and accelerating and revving fine, I'd imagine you're okay.
