Is it only the rear wheel drive Sts that are supposed to have the 2 bolt differential to subframe mount bolts or should all STs have the 2 bolt subframe mount
From a YouTube video I watched earlier, '20s got the two-bolt. After that, it's a single. AWR has a part that can tighten that up. There's also the "Diffy Stiffy", which is considerably less expensive.
That it doesn't. But percent wise it's a small amount that have broke. And most that have broke have been modded. Or been launched many times at the drag strip or both.
My dealer applied the band-aid to my Limited (single bolt), but the parking brake engages when I tell it to. There's no automatic engagement. After tomorrow at lunch time, it'll not be an issue. I'm picking up my ST.

Welcome to the Forum.
If the vehicle has the 2 bolt rear I don't see a need for a brace seeing as there are quite a few on the road with just the 1 bolt and no additional bracing. What is AWR?

I agree about not adding one as it has not been an issue when there are both bolts, only with the 1 bolt.
Peter, this is the AWR. 2020+ Ford Explorer ST Differential Mount
