so far this is what has been replaced

brake pads several times
roters
alternator
parking brake pads
Thermostat
oxygen sensors
solenoid on the trans

also on the inside of the car I replaced the arm rest due to wear and both front door locks needed a little work

Congrats man. I'm almost at 100k. Can't imagine 200 yet.

Wow congratulations!! Thats a short list of the items you've replaced for such high mileage -- amazing

Is it an automatic transmission or a manual transmission?

Cgolden,
Which transmission solenoid did you change and can you please describe what type of transmission issues/symptoms were you having when you changed the solenoid? Is the transmission still working fine after the solenoid change? Thanks.

it is an automatic i will have to check tomorrow the paper work on the repair to see what all was changed i did not do the repair myself but the problem was that the O/D light was flashing.

yeah I think 300 will take quite a few years

200,000

Congrats, I'll be there in a few months. I've got 193,x.. on a 97 sport OHV manual. All Ive done is two clutches and O2 sensors. I hope I didn't just jinx myself. 200,000 here I come.

shucks i guess i cheated i just got mine a month ago with 189k on it but it's in amazing condition i will be there soon ...this one will do an easy 350,000 i have faith in my Fords....:)

Yes your explorer will do 300 plus. I got 328 or so on my stock motor. I did dog the heck out of it on the last 5000 or so but i didnt blow up. I knew i was changing it so i wanted to see what she would really do

Mine had 106000 when it took the mighty dump. mine will have had the regular brakes, blend door fix etc, and a NEW MOTOR. Ford really sucks sometimes.
