2000 explorer 5.0 4r70 dip stick

Hi there so I explained in my last post that I did a full 5.0 swap in my 99 explorer out of a 2000 I also brought the trans over which if I’m correct is a 4r70w I totally lost the dip stick tube for it and I can’t seem too find one anywhere does the f150 ones fit? Seems like there are a lot of those if anyone knows let me know please or if y’all have links too any thank you so much

Have you hunted on eBay yet, that would be best for most odd parts like that, or a local salvage yard? The F150 may be the same length, the top end would be the only difference, the height it comes up in the engine bay. I prefer a taller tube than older Fords, where it's short and barely visible.

I’ve looked on eBay I’ve honestly looked everywhere and yes I’ve checked the salavage yard near me

These are getting more rare since they stopped making them almost 10 years ago. For more obsolete items, first hunting the part number is very helpful. Many listing will have bad descriptions, but will have the part number in it.

I think the cars will all have a shorter dipstick, and most trucks might use the same tall one. Nobody discusses swapping that part, so it's not easy to figure out the details, thus my general guess.
