Hey I have a 2000 Explorer 5.0 AWD, and the airbag light keeps flashing. It didn’t bother me too much until I drove it from CT to Lake George (about 4 hours) at night both ways. It is too bright. I pulled apart the dash to remove the light from the cluster since I had to replace another bulb in cluster, and then the chime kept going off so I put the bulb back in. Does anyone know what the problem is?

The LFC is: On..On..On.......On..On..On..On..On..On and then it will usually just stay lit.

Thanks,
Ryan

Oh, and would a OBD II troubble code scanner tell you whats wrong?

there is a yellow plug under each seat up front, unplug the cap and blow in it....the light should go away

I should have doubble checked before I posted the LFC is:

On..On..On.....On..On..On..On..On..On

thanks

I'm having the same problem with my 96...I took out the bulb and now I get this really annoying chiming sound that is driving me CRAZY. I wanna put the bulb back in, because I can deal with the light but I don't know what I did with it...=|
