I have no High Beam, nor Flash to Pass High Beam.
Look through the wiring schematic, and it appears the problem is suppose to be the Multifunction Switch. Well...I change the things, and per another post, my wipers go into warp drive as well. Plus even when I changed it out again, the wipers behave until you put in high speed, and they stay there.
Still no High Beam, or Flash to Pass. My bulbs are good, check them. Appears there is no High Beam Relay, so now am a little lost. Perhaps its a wiring issue in the column all of a sudden. The car did get blasted in our 2009Tsunami, and I had water over the seats in the thing. I've changed most the relays under the dash, except the one touch window relay yet. Back then, I pulled the seats, carpets...all interior I could tear out, hosed it down with fresh water (not under the dash though), air dried everything, put electrical contact cleaner on all the connections, and its been good for 4 years yet.
I've got to change the front seat belts yet, but where I live...seatbelt is merely a law requirement, and we rarely drive over 30 with 25mph speed limits. Sure head on = 50mph...but still...really, seat belts were priority then :)
Guess I've got to start chasing down wiring...sigh...the firewall harness is bit of a problem I suppose, the air bag light is always on, loop back failure is what I get from a code reading.
Just wonder if anyone else has had Multifunction Switch issue with High Beam, warp speed wipers after replacement, and where I might pin point my High Beam issue.
Thanks gang, and sorry about a long post,
Terry in Pago Pago
