2000 Ford Explorer Custom Paint with Lots of Pictures

Just wanted to share my new paint job with everyone here. Lots of pictures. I hope to get rims for it in a month or two. Take a look and post comments. I painted it black in a garage but it was red.

Anyone have any ideas for rims. I was looking at 22" Drop Stars. Not sure what is the best though.

Yea I know just taking it one step at a time. Rims are next then I'm going to start on the interior with all custom upholstery.

Very nice work, real head turner. Paint work is stunning. I like the 1st pictures with the middle color silver without the skulls better but I am pretty conservative. The sills silver and the side mirrors silver really really look good. Excellent colors-blue & silver--nailed it. Absolutely amazing, over the top in a good way. Re: rims, almost anything would look good. In my opinion 20's look good on 2nd gens, 22's would probably look good too, anything taller and you are looking at bicycle size side walls. Pro Comp had a grey chrome color which could look good.

I got a price on C3 rims for 22's at $2,100. Just have to wait to get my tax refund check. I got lots of work on the interior to starting with replace the carpet and all the wiring for the audio.

Already commented, but with the wheels it looks even more amazing! Way Way over the top in a good way. Paint & Wheels look too good to be driving in the snow & salt! Nice Nice Nice.

With your tax refund you should think about getting some larger, slotted brake rotors, maybe even painting the Calipers that color blue!!
