My Explorer will start when I turn the key, but won't hold an idle. The problem has gotten progressively worse, as at first I could hold the accelerator down until the engine warmed up, and eventually the idle would kick in. Now, I can drive it if I use the brake to slow and the accelerator to hold RPM's, but the engine won't idle on its own.
Any suggestions? I'm guessing it's a sensor, but hoping there's a mechanical fix.
Thanks in advance.
