2001 sport trac v8 swap speedo issues

I have finished my 5.0 swap In a 2001 st, donor was a 98 50 explorer. I swapped everything, it runs and drives, but I cant get the speedo to work, I have swapped over the abs module, and wired the the g force sensor and still cant get it to work. I follow svt write up. But I get the abs light on and shifter locks in place and wont let me put it in gear. When I hook up my reader, it states my harness is wired wrong and if I return the pins on the abs back to stock the truck shifts into gear and drives, just no speedo

So I figured it out, for some reason, I had to use an abs module from a 2000 explorer 5.0 to get everything to run. I'll get the part number tomorrow of you need it

That's helpful for adjusting for tire diameter also, most of ours don't provide for any adjustment.

The 98-01 Explorer PCM's use the VSS signal that is created by the special ABS module. The ABS "conditions" the signal which it receives from the rear ABS sensor(it's not a VSS signal), and then the PCM and speedometer receive the VSS from the ABS module.
