2001 Sport Trac with radio noise.

Hello , thank you for having me and taking the time to read this. I am a ham radio operator . I installed a HF radio in my 20001 sport trac and the EMI rfi was terrible. I have bonded everything , added ferrites and a dc in line filter and brought the noise from an s9 to a s3. The remaining noise seems to be coming from the fuel pump. Can anyone help me with this?

Sounds like you may need to visit your battery cables. How are your ground wires?

How did you wire the radios power? As @410Fortune asked about the ground wires, are the grounds clean to bare metal?
