Hello all, Put about 30 miles on our 2002 Explorer xlt 4x4 today. Parked it in the garage, wife went to back out an hour later and nothing. No forward nor reverse. No matter what, checked fluid and it is at the correct level, could it be a broken band? I drove it in the garage under its own power, now it wont move. I am puzzled. Any help would be great. Thanks.

You might have a bad solenoid block. Check the main pressure, and the EPC pressure with a 0-300 PSI test gauge in all of the gear ranges.

Any dash lights? When our '04 blew third gear, 1,2 only thing left, i had a Check Engine, Check Trans, O/D light was on. . . We took it into a guy in Royal Oak who offers a lifetime on HIS rebuilds. Good price too.
