2003 Eddie Bauer AC Compressor R&R

I have a 2003 Eddie Bauer 4.0L and I want to replace the AC Compressor. I have had the system Evacuated professionally however I am stuck as to how to remove the compressor. I found a thread on the forum however the compressor is different. Mine is the shorter compressor with the manifold on the side not the rear. Do these studs unscrew? I can remove the nuts but the stud does not want to come loose. I am afraid of putting to much torque on it for fear of breaking it. I appreciate any help or pics as to how to do this.

It's been a little bit, but there are nuts on the studs that come off and some that are part of the stud. The ones that come off, will have another nut behind it that is part of the stud. I'll look a little later.
