2004 Explorer XLT with Cooled Seats

Hey guys -

I did a quick search and found some old threads (2009...) that never really went anywhere about this, but I was wondering if anyone has any new ideas...

First - does anyone here know what year cooled seats were first offered in the Explorers? Was it 2011??

Second, does anyone here have any experience swapping the Lincoln seats into an Explorer? I think the Aviators had cooled seats back then, so maybe it's a pretty straightforward swap, if I can find the seats.

I live in Florida, and some cooled seats in my very black Explorer would be quite nice - I'm looking for a seat swap anyway because the driver's seat in my car is basically flattened. I imagine a rather large person sat in it for most of my car's 147,000 miles.

Sounds intriguing. I had no idea that the Aviators had cooled seats...

I checked some websites and it does not look like Aviators had cooled seats in 2003-05. Info on them starts showing in 2006.

I bought a drivers seat from salvage yard for $50 just to rob some power seat parts from. A nice one might run $100 up here. I have seen them on Ebay also.
