2011 looking at 2017 rims TPMS question

2011 Limited looking at winter tire/rim. I think the 2017 18 OEM rims will fit but will the earlier TPMS fit in the newer rims?

I don't know for sure but I would think so. If you are looking to buy 2017 OEM wheels, why not get the 18" steel Interceptor wheels? Those are the ones I'm running on my 2017 Platinum in place of the OEM 20" for Winter.
