Greetings, I'm in the reassembly phase of the timing chain and water pump replacement on my 2015 Explorer with a 3.5 non-ECOBoost engine. Is there a reason to change the cam sprockets (phasers) on this engine (150,000 miles)?
I've seen many failures of the EcoBoost phasers, but once again, I don't have the EcoBoost engine.
