2020 Ford Explorer ST Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor

I was driving today and the pedal snapped of the pedal house and says check 4wd hill decent etc are not working

I was able to jerry rig it and move the car to a save place but then it fell of and i cannot get it to work.

I have ordered the Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor replacement. Is there anything special I need to do? One bolt remove and remove old and replace with new?

Disconnect battery?

Welcome to the Forum.
I don't recall reading a similar post so I have nothing to go by. Perhaps other members will be able to help. I doubt you'd have to disconnect the battery.

The service manual only says to R&I - nothing else.

Perhaps other members will be able to help.

Perhaps if the thread was moved the appropriate forum, members more-familiar with that year model would see it.
