with a 3" BL and 2" Torsion twist you should be able to stuff 33's.

yes a 3" TT is possible with a 2wd, and then some.
However you must keep in mind the ride quality will suffer HUGE.
You see when you twist the torsion bars you are pushing the wheels down towards the bottom of their travel cycle and making that your new ride height. What this means is when you max it out the tire can no longer drop into a hole, since its already at the bottom of the suspension cycle the whole truck must fall in the hole.
The more twist you give it the worse the ride.

There was a Red Sport on this site some time ago, 2wd with the torsionbars maxed out.
The 4wd you cant go much more then 2" because of the CV joints.

my bars are cranked up pretty good still have those tiny 31" tires on

You will also need longer shocks or shock extenders. If you use the stock shocks, you will most likely extend them too far and damage 'em.

should of said that also the shocks that just came with my kit were not long enough.. long enough to fit but can not stretch more than another inch or 2 at the most..

does anyone have sum suggestions on some shocks i was reading 4wheel parts had some procomps on sale for like 4 for 135 or sumthing but how do i know which ones are for longer traveling and what should i really get?

That doesnt make any sense. How can the shocks not be long enough, when the wheels have always been able to travel that far down?
Meaning you are not increasing the amount of travel in the front end, you are mearly changing the ride height of the suspension. Stock shocks should be able to droop down to the new ride height????

Somebody please explain....

It's not that you droop any more than you did stock, it's that it is a lot easier to max out the shock than normal because you're starting so much closer to the maximum extension. Normally, when you go over a bump or a pothole on the road, the suspension flexes up and down to soak it up. With the torsion twist, you are much more apt to max the shock out quickly since you're much closer to the limits to start.

Putting longer shocks or extenders in also gives more droop. The stock length shocks are what limit the droop up front (especially with the swaybar detached), so longer shocks=more droop.

so if i put longer shocks on are you saying that the ride wont be as harsh because it has further travel or just because its not as close to max out everytime ? it would be nice if new shocks would make it a smoother ride but also what kind do i need?

that is not true.. on my 1995 Explorer I added 2 add a leafs on the rear and the stock shocks wouldn;t even reach at least 3 inches too short...
the shocks that came with the the spinle kit are barely long enough... i put the shocks the new ones on after i put the wheels back on and when i attached the top and when i pulled them all the way open i was only able to stretch them about 1 inch father than the bracket for the shocks. if i tried to flex any something would go snap... until i get new ones..

Longer shocks won't make the ride less harsh unless you are constantly hitting their max length. What makes the ride on a truck with a tt on it harsher is the suspension geometery. As you go up, the lower a-arms tilt at a higher angle, which transmits more of the force into the frame. The best ride you will get out of an a-arm equipped vehicle is when the lower a-arms are parallel with the road.

well i guys i finally got the balls to spend my money on kumho venture mts 33x12.5-15 on my chrome steelies that look like mickey thompsons i think its going to look good with 3in body lift and shackles and torsion twist two thumbs for 4 wheel parts again they dropped my total so much on the phone just by calling them that the total came out to be as much as the online order with out buying the shackles so i pretty much got 65 dolla shackles for free after alittle whining and bargaining but the guy gave me a hard time about the body lift not fitting i know its not for the 01 sport but can someone clarify what exactly i will have to do different ive heard stuff from not being able to use the real front bumper and just the cover to having to cut the rear brackets or making new ones and all this crap i just dont want to be doing the lift and be like oh need to get longer bolts or woops got to go get brackets made? please help

wow that was kinda hard to read. Punctuation is the key, my friend.
