I have a 98 explorer 2wd. I want to lift it with shackles in the back and crank the torsions up all the way in the front about 3 inchs. If I do this will a set of 33x12.50 r15 Goodyear Wranglers on a set of 15x10 inch eagles fit with minimal rubbing. If not what else would I have to do. and if not whats the biggest size that will fit. Thanks for any help.

32's might but 33's will require alot of trimming. also cranking the TT to 3" will resolt in replaceing the CV Joint very often!

2WD > no CVs in front Digger.

You'll need 5" of lift or 3" and Perry's fenders to fit 33s without completely hacking up your fenders. I tried fitting 33x12.50s with only 3" of lift and ended up getting Perry's fenders after my stock fenders had multiple meetings with the sawzall and grinder.

On a 2wd, the best way to get 5" is torsion twist and lift spindles in front and SOA in the rear.

Oh, and use 15x8 wheels with 3.75" backspacing, they'll fit much better than 15x10s.
