only reason im keepin the ttb is because ive been searching for a dana 44 and when i find one that i can afford, i go and its a pos,i thoght 6" coils and f150 spacers will align, because the drop bracket is 6" and thats only 1.5" over, i mean you can run 2" coils on stock brackets soo 7.5" will work on 6" brackets, am i right or wrong? because if i cant align that then hell with that

i dont think the alignment is the biggest of your worries...the complete shredding of your front end maybe... but if you want to be a pace setter and prove us all wrong, i say go for it ;)

I know some people that know some people that have run 40-42s on their D35 TTBs. If you are going to go all out, do it in style!!!

ya, i put in the 6" drops and coil spacers, my tires looked like this \ /. There was no way even after maxing out the adjusters we would of gotten it aligned. Also, 44's arent that hard to find.

i ran 38s for 6 mo, wheeled the crap out of it and ragged on it pretty good sinice th LS was burned up, i think youll be fine as long as the front diff stays open, this was on the 93 with 6" susp ans 3" body and a good chunk of fender material missing, but the ttb does pretty good with that much ground clearance.

they are hard to fine if you have a budget like i do, decent d44's go for $600 around here, and if i would spend $1200 in the sas then i wouldnt have any money to get bigger tires

my vote, after seeing people go solid and me going superlift soon after, save up and go solid. You'll never regret it, its definatly worth the wait. i kinda jumped into the superlift and wish i would of regeared and locked first, and gone solid without even wasting my time on the superlift. Speaking of which what gears were you planning on running with those monsters?

5.13s, see its like i cant really wait to much longer and i really dont want to get 33's again, and if i go to 35's i would have to regear to 4.56s but then if i would go up to 37's the 4.56s arent good enough, soo im stuck!

why can you not wait? your tires arent bald or anything...at least you advertise them at 60%, and thats ALOT on some BFG ATs, youve got at least 6-7 months left on those, and thats plenty of time to save up for an SAS and some 5.13s. Just my opinion though.

That would be because he described them here, in this thread, as 30%. :D Notice the last post was edited.

hmm, i remember seeing in his for sale as them being 60%.... strange

sorry i hit 3 on the number pad instead of 6, it was a miss spell

right now since winter comings i would rather have 100% then a 60%(well by then) 50%, last year my dad wrecked his old yukon when he had 40% tread in the snow, thats the only reason

and they dont make 4.88 gears for the d35 ttb

and if you dont notice most of my post are edited, because i missed spelled or forgot to had something

i would suggest against a 37x14 just cause your gunna have to have insane ammount of lift to clear those things when you turn. or hack the hell outta the fenders...

i have 9"s of lift, 37x12.50s on 8" rims and i rub on speed bumps and curbs, LOL i dont know if the 1st gen opening is bigger than the second, but if it is, still prolly not enough to matter. plus i could just imagine the amount of stress those 14" wide tires are gunna put on the already stressed d35...

Good luck with whatever you do
