Ok ill see what i can find. thanks for all the help guys

Go with Skyjacker 6" lift coils (pt# 136) and the extra drop pitman arm (pt# FA600). The softer-than-average Skyjacker TTB coils are generally good for 4.5-5" lift on a X, there should be no problem with realigning it with your 4" lift brackets. The pitman arm will restore your steering back to what it should be.

Like others have said, the HP D35 TTB is a good sturdy axle. Throw on a pair of the Warn #37780 Jeep hubs and it'll stand up to some good wheelin' no problem.

Down the road you might look into getting some extended radius arms for it. These should gain you another 2-4" flex by themselves.

...Warn has recently discontinued the 37780 hubs...;)

I don't see any direct indication there that the new replacements aren't the same type of hub, but I AM curious as to why the change, and what it is... (note that the picture does say "image may not be accurate for this application", and is the same pic they show if you bring up the 37780)

If you talk to them, please be sure to let them know the whole RBV community is depending on those 37780 hubs.
29071 hubs suck donkey dick. Who f'in cares if they are warrantied for ever?? If you're out on the trail, you don't want the damn things breakin' on you every 100 feet!

(IMO, #29071 should BECOME #37780)

...That was my exact thought as soon as I heard that...;)

...I was going to tell this one guy , hmmm , that wrote a thread about those hubs on another forum, but I think he's already heard..:D

lol

Thanks

:chug:

...I knew you would like that..:p:

...Be safe, good wheelin', and have a happy new year...:biggthump

Happy new year everyone. Oh and i do already have warn hubs. Kinda off topic, but does anyone have an off road pipe, like catless exhaust and does it help any or just to noisy? right now i just got a 2.5 cb with 40 series flow

...I wouldn't waste my time with a cat less exhaust...:hammer:

Lol i figured so. It was a good mod on my stang but im sure with the 4.0 its not gunna do much at all!

alright i got to break out the camera. Ill get some up by tonight

i always like seein other lifted first gens.. theres one that runs around my town, ive stopped and looked at it when i saw it at wal mart.. think its runnin the skyjacker 2" with 32s, looks stout. i need bigger tires and rear leafs. : (

hopefully this spring my 97 will see the TT and shackle lift with my old 31s, if i can gather up enough money for 33s for the sport.
