4wd High Light Flashing

I have a 2003 Explorer XLS Sport with 4wd. The 4wd high light started flashing today. It flashes 6 times and then goes off and it repeats this sequence. I can shift into 4wd Low and High fine, it engages. What could be the problem? She drives fine. Thanks in advance!

sounds like an issue with the T-Case. If the light is flashing I wouldn't reccomend using 4WD.

It stopped

I just turned her on and the light isn't flashing anymore. But keep the replies coming as I would like to know all the possible options on what's going on.
