4wd Transfer case shift issue-look inside please!

I have a 97 4x4 explorer control trac and my front drive shaft will not engague in 4x4.4 low works but the shaft will not lock in.It has no vacuum lines to check and im stumped.the lights come on as they are suppose to.If i jack it up and put it in 4 high the light comes on,i put it in drive and only rear wheels spin.And if im not mistaking the front hubs are locked in auto and in 4???? it has auto on my shiftier. does that sound right? I have to get back to hunting in a hurry haha.

update The clutch coil wire on the transfer case has no power.The wire below the rear drive shaft.It controls the engaging of the front drive shaft. What would cause that?
 


















Did you check the fuses to see if any are blown. You can use a test light to see where the power stops.

Try to reseat your GEM connector. Pull out the radio, look to towards the steering wheel inside the dash, there should be a module. Wiggle that connector, and disconnect/connect it. Worth a try. That box controls the entire system.
 






ok i will try that next.I also just burnt up a hub lol i know that is not the problem but im going to try to put trans fluid in the abs hole.
 






and witch is the gem,the small grey box or the sorts long black box?
