Does anybody know of another name or another part number for the following? Conversion U Joint Autozone P/N: 185793, PDQ/Brute Force #1-0134. BW4406 Transfer case and rear drive shaft installed but can't seem to make front drive shaft work.

Update: Went to salvage yard today and found there are 2 driveshafts in the years listed for the 4.6L and one of them expands and contracts. Salvage yard was nice enough to give me one they had in stock for no charge.

Nice! Yes you want a slip yoke style

Even then you may have to cut it down a bit. You will need a conversion U joint also
If you have to cut the driveshaft down an inch or so to get it to fit then its pretty simple, basically mark the shaft so it can go back together the same way, take it apart at the slip yoke, clean up both ends and cut about 3/4" off both sides with a grinder.......new grease and put it back together then it will fit

So you are converting your 5.0 to a 4406 t case! NICE! You will love it
