5.0 explorer

Hey guys so I just bought a wrecked explorer with the 5.0 and the 4r70w trans it’s a 2000I bought it too swap it into my 1999 explorer that I blew my 4.0 in I’m looking too build the 5.0 before swapping I’m looking too get at at least 350 too the wheels or more if I can reach that high any suggestions on upgrades for the motor? just seeing what’s out there it seems kinda hard too find stuff for the explorer 5.0 are the mustang and explorer 5.0 the same? I’m not looking too turbo or supercharge it if possible just looking for any performance parts does anyone make a intake for it? I can’t seem too find one

to get to the horsepower you are wanting, you will more then likely need more then just bolt on's if you dont want to go forced induction. you will need to go stroker and alum heads

I think I may have around 330 at the crank with 8lbs of boost. Upgrades only include larger injectors, higher volume fuel pump forged pistons and Headers/exhaust.......................................You would need around 400HP to get 350 to the wheels.

If your looking for a solid daily and want that kind of power i would get a stroker kit. Your talking about a roughly 200hp gain over stock. For 350 at the wheels. Something in that ball park at least.
