what would you say to a 4.0 SOHC V6 swap to a 5.0

I have so far swapped out my 4.0 to a 4.6 and am now swapping out 5.0. 4.0 to 4.6 you need the computer and steering rack. The steering shaft on 4.0 won't clear the manifolds. I believe it to be true also for the 5.0. The few issues I see so far on the 5.0 going into its place is my ECM is different, exhaust needs modded but I'm putting it into a 02 explorer that did not come out with 5.0 anyway.
