good day all. dropped the tank to change fuel pump in 2002 explorer sport 2d 4.0 liter. the connector part of the wire end has 5 contact pins. when i search for replacement fuel pump all other pumps only have 4 pins. i believe the 5th pin is for a diode but not sure. can i install a 4 pin connector instead of the 5 pin?
