I need a link where to purchase a EPC Solenoid for a 5R55E online. Also I need a link on where to get a in/lbs Torque Wrench. I'm going to be doing a Transgo kit on my 5R55E and I need these last two items to get it going. Thanks.

Here is a link for a 1/4" torque wrench from Harborfreight: http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/displayitem.taf?Itemnumber=2696. The solenoid could be purchased from WWW.TransmissionPartsUSA.Com, WWW.Aceomatic.Com, and WWW.Slosson.Com. I just bought some solenoids for an A4LD from WWW.TeckPak-Fitzall.Com through Slosson. I don't know if these places will have them in stock, or how much they charge, but in other posts here, it seems that $112 is average. That torque wrench is $28.99, with a $10 shipping fee.

Thanks for the link to the Torque Wrench but besides TransmissionPartsUSA (I can't find one there) is there any other "E-Commerce" sites that might have the EPC Solenoid? (You can't order Aceomatic stuff online) :( Thanks....

yea they show to have one for 114.00 for 1997-up

the site is supported by FORDPARTSNETWORK and Torrie will sell you one online for $112.

Thanks for all the info guys and I look forward to doing the Transgo upgrade next weekend with the wonderful help of Glacier's Thread. :)

WWW.Aceomatic is part of WWW.Axiom.Com. A lot of these parts websites don't post all of their parts online. If you call them, they will tell you their part # of what you need, and the price. All of these distributors have their own part #s, so catalogs don't always help. Speaking of parts, I've been looking a couple of things, such as an A4LD external solenoid plug (not in the case), and a heat shield that covers up the servos, and the modulator. I've called a few of these places, but they don't sell them. Maybe somebody here might have an idea where to get them, or might have some old ones that they don't need.
