5r55e shift problems

i have a flare problem with my 1999 ford ranger with a 5r55e has codes po743 tcc system and a po 1761 shift selinod performance need some help bought new seperator plate thinking it mite be that but have vale body off right now and was reading diff post about a kit any help would be nice thax jerry
