88 Aerostar Won't Fire

My 1988 Ford Aerostar was idling then engine died, now motor spins but will not fire. Believe it may be the ICM - ignition control module - but am looking for other possobilities. Any Ideas?+

Welcome to this forum! The part that you are referring to is called the TFI or Thick Film Ignition module. It might be bad, but you should first check to see if the cap & rotor are bad.

I bet it's the module.....exact same thing happened to me a while back.....DEFINITELY get one from a U-Wrench-It-type place if you can. Get two or three of them while you are there, because to replace this part new is close to $100, while a used one for $5 is still very likely to work for a while....mine's been kicking it for about 8K now....
