92 x a/c

well let me keep this short and sweet
i will not drive another summer with out a/c in my car. already done 3 of those. i had freon added to my x a couple summers ago but it wasn't too much cooler after that... i figure maybe it leaked out... hopefully...
What are the common problems with the a/c system in 92's? and costs of these problems

You can check you compressor by jumping the wires going into it, search on which ones....

The shop doing the freon charge should be doing a leak check prior to the charge.

when i had new freon put in it was by a friend. he knows what hes doing hes a machanic...but we were in a bit of a hurry and he just put it in and said if it did do bring it back and he'd chekc for a leak but that was 2 summers ago....i just wanted to see if there is anything eles i should be concered about being bad or if its probalby just a leak in the system

i had no ac at the beginning of last summer, my compressor would kick on and then off repeatedly, that is due to not enough pressure in the system, so i had it recharged (luckily my buddy bought a whole lot of the freon before they discontinued it) and i had ac all summer, but there is a hose on top of the motor on the passenger side that started getting air bubbles in it, i think it is the leak in my system cause i just tried mine this last weekend and it kicked on and off again, also i noticed on ebay they were selling ac expansion tubes like madmen so that could be it too, other than that, you always have oaky ac roll down the windows
