93 explorer xlt build

Just picked these up for cheap.plan on doing the 2x2 lift first body lift and piecing together some sort of better kit over time.the tires don't have much life on them but their not completely bald.still no lift here and these are 2757016.

I had the coil lift in there but seemed to binded.so I took it out and just installed 2 flat washers on each side from broncograveyard.com.im new here so trying to figure how to upload.most of my files it says to large to upload.so as of now it's got a shackle lift in rear and the two washers under front coils. and I painted the stock coils.anyone know how I get that camber bolt out? Special socket?

Some updates new shocks and added a Magnaflow muffler.skyjacker black max in the rear and skyjacker m95 in the front.

Are those front shocks made for a lifted Explorer? They look pretty compressed and don’t have much up travel...

Yeah not much travel on a small lift? Idk ordered the 0-2 inch lift shocks.

It does look a little funny not much travel for mono tubes.rides alot better.ill probably end up lifting front a little more maybe get more out of them.pretty much level now tho.

I'll get one when I get back home.still not happy with it but much happier without tailpipe.seemed really choked up with 2 inch pipe.probably gonna go 2.5 from cat back to over axle dump.and maybe another muffler.although this one might just need broke in.this is the one I put on.

Found a extra key lol trying to add a exhaust clip.says too large.probably change it up anyway.sounds ok lil drone needs to be kicked out somewhere.side or dump.

Found these lil guys in the trans pan.gasket manufacturer probably the cause of a lot of transmission failures.

Counted all of them and luckily none were missing .I'm gonna do a couple flushes and then put a new filter and gasket on.One without the aluminum slugs that dont stick to the pan magnet.imagine that.almost like they set it up to fail.

those old gaskets with the metal torque stoppers do kinda suck
I have never had one come apart like that! Luckily they would get stuck in the filter if they did get sucked up

Are you adding a drain plug? Replacement dorman pans come with a drain plug which is nice (I don't say that about Dorman very often)

If they come with a drain plug I'll be adding one.i only flushed like 3 qts after dropping pan.weird that the slugs were aluminum and magnet wouldn't touch them.
