Has anyone replaced their engine in an early 90's Explorer Sport with a modified 2.3L Lima engine?

My 93 Navajo is a terrible gas guzzler. Has anyone replaced an early 90's engine with a modified 4 cylinder 2.3L Lima engine?
 






I've never heard of anyone doing that swap. What kind of HP does that engine make?
