94 Explorer 4X4 will not engage

Hello, I have a 94 Ford Explorer and the 4 wheel drive will not engage. The dash panel 4x4 lights will come on, but it is not engaging. I have tried different hubs and it is still not engaging. Any ideas?? Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

Where the light comes on, I would expect that the transfer case is shifting, which suggests to me that there is a hub problem still. Auto or manual hubs? Have you reviewed the 4x4 troubleshooting thread and ran through some of the tests there?

They are auto hubs. Still trying to look at other threads to see if someone has my same problem. I am hoping it is just the hubs..
