95 Explorer XLT Stereo Questions

Hey all,

I'm considering transplanting a pair of 5.25 Pioneer speakers into my Explorer as one of the front speakers is blown. I have these laying around so I don't have to buy anything new, but I'm just wondering if they will fit into the front doors without a hassle....

In order to make them fit, would I have to make an adapter or buy one etc...?

Also, I'm looking to replace the stock head unit with a Pioneer CD head unit that I also have laying around collecting dust. What would I need to do this?

The stock speakers are 5x7/6x8, so you'll need to fab an adapter for the 5.25s. MDF works alright.

For the HU, you'll need a factory amp bypass kit and a dash install kit.
