'95 xl reg cab 4x4 5 speed 2.3l

...I'll let you know what I wind up with, possibly a group buy??

...Rattlecan FTW...:biggthump

I'm thinking of adding a second battery (yellow top) in the bed.

...:shifty_ey ...I knew you were holding out on us...

...Where did you mount the double in your Ranger???...Tell me you made a flatbed and took the black bed off...:D

I wanted to keep it under the hood, but it won't fit. So they will be in the bed.

...Today started off nice even with the time change...Then the wind picked up strong by 8 a.m., the temps quickly jumped into the 80's, and then I lost my mind...

...Since ScottB mentioned getting a ticket cops have been on my tail regular...:shifty_ey ..I decided today I was going to go to Pepboy's and pick up that $40 tail light...They raised the price to $47 plus so I decided it was a nice enough day to head to pic a part...

...I hit two of them and not a 3rd gen Ranger in sight and only a couple first gen X's that were cleaned out...I headed over to a small auto parts I know (since all the other big stores no longer carry the tail light) and same day ordered one for $38 pl tx...

...I felt good, or perhaps a little to good...I started reviewing the Optima battery box's and placed an order in which I hope is here by next weekend...I then went to Currie (Which will be moving in the future) and bought a couple more 8.8 shock mounts for $16 bucks...Next thing you know I'm on the phone with Chad at Ballistic placing an order...

...As for the tail light, it's a purty, new target, and fits like a glove...:biggthump ..I just need to find a new Brake bulb socket as mines trashed...

So when is the next truckhaven run? :D :D

Looks good - a little hammer and dolly work, and you could have that fender straight as new!

So, whatcha ordering from Ballistic?

...That reminds me, if anyone see's any tails locally for sale, let me know...:D

...These darn Rangers are lasting way to long to find used parts for them...

So, whatcha ordering from Ballistic?
...I'm not telling as you cost me a bunch of money today...:p:

Me !?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? What could I possibly have done to cost you money? (I just noticed my name in your sig...)

EDIT: I think that qualifies as a memorable quote.

...I just received a tracking notification from UPS that my order from Ballistic has been shipped....:bounce:

..Hopefully it can get here by Friday but I at least get to track it daily...

..:bounce:...Chad from Ballistic came thru for me...:biggthump

...Just under 72 hours from ordering online, a big brown truck delivered my package...:D

Well, what IS it!?!?! :bounce:

...I thought the one with the spider was a little to expensive so I did what any other 16 yr old would do...I got the one with the skull...

...It's not to exciting but I picked up one of these...

...The camera is in the Ranger...:(

...I can post a pic tomorrow night after work but I will be doing a write up on it Sunday...:D

Will the tabs on the bottom (with the mounting holes) make it too wide to fit in/on the existing battery tray? Or, are you mounting this somewhere else?

...That's why I called Ballistic and part of what the writeup will be about...

...It was designed to be mounted anywhere but no one thought about stock locations for Rangers or X's...

...I purchased some spray paint and I have my grinder ready for this weekend...:hammer:

Well if you wanted easy then should have bought a Jeep :p:

(Ducks head and runs like hell) :D

...This will be pretty easy..;)

...I just didn't want to buy 2 and find out it fit to tight in the Ranger but was small in the X (My Ranger takes a smaller battery than the X)..I might wind up having just enough room for a small ARB compressor (just for the front locker) to fit between the battery and the headlight..It might be a little more difficult to plumb for the air tank in the rear on the Ranger if I do...:dunno:

Sure - pay some shop to do all the work for you (and they need lots of work...)
