Well nice body work Tbars. Have you knocked the dent out yet?

...Naa, I need to find a spare tail light first...:(

...I wish the economy was better and work would pick up...I would like to find another clean black Ranger for cheap and make this one into another on/off trail rig...

......It already is very capable but it is on the verge of moving up from DD status...Lot's of ideas and decisions going on in my head...

...The 2.3l and this truck have wheeled a lot of places with out a problem...The 2.3l is a Great motor...:biggthump

...There are a lot of full on rock buggies who rock 4 cyl. motors...There are a bunch of other factors to like gears, traction, driver, but the 2.3l motor is very capable...;)

That's good I thought you had 32's with 4.10's so was curious as to how the motor was of course that's an OHV model and I'm use to DOHC 4bangers so that 2.3 having more low end helps ya out.

...I still have 4.10 gears and 32x11.50 BFG a/t's...

...Last month I added/upgraded from the 7.5 rear to an explorer 8.8 w/Detroit locker, I removed the factory D35 hybrid and shafts (broke one in AZ.) and replaced that with a true D35 with ARB (minus the air at this time)...Both have the 4.10's...

..If I could have found that set up with 4.56 gears would have been great but, I got a really good deal at the right time and I am very happy with the set up...:biggthump

...Not in the near future....Maybe one day...:dunno:

Just what you need - three trucks!

Just make this one your hard-core daily driver, and your Ex the hard-core wheeler...

Nahhh it proof that you actually wheel the damn thing :D

...Well, it rained here the day before yesterday...I couldn't help myself...:burnout:

...I took advantage of the slick roads...:D...I had a blast...Every time the truck would chirp, bang, or lockup, I would start to laugh...and I was laughing all day...A 2.3 with no passing gear sounding aggresive and breaking them loose...

...I am so easily entertained...:p:

...As for the missing tail light...

...I have one I can get used from a guy for $10 bucks local..Well, it will take about $15 bucks in gas to get there and back...I went to pick and pull and there was only one ranger with a busted tail light...

..I went to Pepboy's and they have them in the back for $40...I called a local jy for trucks and they wanted $55 new only...They did say another jy by me had one so I called them...They called me back and said they didn't have any used but could sell me a new one...$85...:wtf:

..My search continues...

...I'm still looking to find a cheaper tail light..:p:

...I guess I need to start work on the complete 8.8 brakes sooner than I hoped...The parking brake light came on when I started it today, checked the fluid and there was none..Looked at the inside of all the tires and the right rear seal must be leaking or blown..:(

...I also need to find some springs to either rebuild my stock pack with or just another set that will give me 1- 1 1/2" of lift that I lost in the swap and also the last 2-3 trail runs have flattened mine out pretty good even with the AAL in there..

What about doing an F-150 leaf swap to'er so it adds height and strength?

I know where you can get another set of stock springs that you could use to add an extra leaf or two.

..Glen4x4, the f150 springs are a little to stiff for my liking and I am used to the way my Ranger flex's...

...I am thinking of building up a Ranger set or, a Hybrid Ranger/Explorer set of leaf's..My current set up is 2 stock leafs and overload with an AAL..My truck is loaded with tools all week, never really squatted, and this setup has worked well for a couple years...It's time for me to get creative while still being thrifty..:D

...90Ranajo, I need to come down and see your build's progress, probably snag the springs, maybe also some other parts, then get you liquored up and talk you out of that Ranger bed you have...:p:

...I always appreciate the input...:biggthump

...I've been known to overlook the obvious, easy solution, due to the little voices in my head...:shifty_ey ...:D
