I am not sure if I am asking this in the right spot but I have been looking and looking and I can not find anything in here getting the transfer case replaced. I would like to put in a Manual Shift transfer case and was wondering what transfer case I can use to do this with. my plans for my Ex is TT, AAL, for now then later on down the road SAS and a 4 link in the rear. All the rigs I have ever wheeled in have had the manual shift and I would really like to get one for this one here. I have seen a lot of people talking about the 4406 From an F150. Would that work with my 4.0 sohc automatic transmission? Thank you all for the help in advance.

you need a BW 1354 and front shaft from a ranger or explorer. 91-94 on the explorer, and 91-96 on the ranger, maybe later on the rangers not sure

Thank you sir. I guess I will be hitting up the Junk Yards next year. Once I get started I will be posting pics.

Not sure about CO, but around here they can be tough to find. Also should mention to take the shifter, linkage, boot and floor plate from your donor!

When running around in my Junk yards out here I seen a lot of Explorer's and rangers out here.

Yes, me too. I meant one with a manual shift case!

Now I understand :-) Thank you sir. I will keep my eyes open.
