I changed the lower intake gasket last year (during head gasket job). A few months later, I found water in oil. I took it apart last week and noticed the lower intake manifold bolts were relatively loose - some were less than 10 Nm.
Maybe I didn't them correctly but I'm usually careful about these things ( I own 4 torque wrenches so that I always have one that's appropriate for the load.)
Anyway - is there a 'trick' to keeping these bolts tight? I've seen other posts about these getting loose but I haven't seen any solution other than driving the truck a bit and then tearing it down a bit to tighten them again.
Thanks,
