97 Explorer 5.0 AWD.... Constant power to the Windows.

I have constant power to my Windows. Key on or off. Not sure if anyone has had this issue before. Everything else is off but the windows and sunroof. Input is appreciated.

do you have a malfunctioning door latch? The power stays on to the windows until a door is opened when key is turned off.

This could be a hint to a relay , or, a bad door latch which does not tell the PCM a door was opened.

Its weird you bring up the latch. Something I forgot to mention my doors don't always fully unlock each time. How would I test the latch mech?

With the engine running, open a door. You should hear a chime followed by door ajar light on dash.

If opening one of the doors ( hatch and rear glass also) does not cause a chime, the door switch is not functioning properly in that door.
