I have a 98 explorer just put a junkyard tranny in it.
(Reverse band broke in old one)
The problem it has is i have to let off the gas to shift out of first, it then finds 3rd
I was thinking seperator plate gasket is blown out, the weird thing is it doesn't do it all the time and if i shut the truck off and restart it it shifts fine again.
I have no check engine light, od light isnt blinking.
Really dont want the hastle of pulling this out to take back
