That means you have plenty of pressure and there probably isn't a leak at all. Start checking fuses and relay

This is shade tree ac diagnosis here, so take it for what it is worth.
I think you have enough freon, or at least close. Once the compressor kicks in that pressure should drop.

Oh, I forgot to ask if the compressor was actually running or not. Do you actually see the clutch engage and compressor turn? Have someone switch the ac on , then to floor, then back to see if you can witness the clutch energizing.

If the compressor was running then I think you need an expert.

If it wasn't, something is preventing it.

Edit, Boomin's suggestions should be done first.

The pressure switch right below the fitting you were trying to check pressure with has to be closed ( I think) to make the compressor clutch engage. Unplug it and see what happens, see it the compressor cycles and the pressure drops to the green area. if not, use a paperclip to jump across the plug end, see if the compressor cycles now. Could just be a bad pressure switch, or, could be something deeper.

Thank you for the help i will check it out.

Like turtle added you can jump the pressure switches. One is on the accumulator (black round thing in rear passenger of engine bay) and the other is near the battery by the high pressure port.

I would honestly start with the fuse then check for power at the relay. If all is well jump the relay for the compressor to see if it kicks on for a second and go from there.

I had an intermittent issue on my 99 mountaineer 5.0 so not sure if it is the same. I did all the diagnostics I could and couldn't find it so I took it to a mechanic. It ended up being a connector next to / under the battery tray had a loose pin. The mechanic soldered the pins on better and has been working great since. Just a thought.
