Ok I just want be 100% on this. Can I swap in a 99 OHV motor into my truck using the 91 sensors and stuff. I have sent e-mails to 410Fortune and Doug asking the same question. I just want ot make absolutely sure this will work before I drop 750 bucks, any help would be appreciated.

Yes you can use the longblock from the 99 with the 91 INTAKES, ACCESSORIES, and SENSORS.

Should make for a STRONG runner!!!

GREAT! Thanks for getting me all excited now! I have to wait until the morning and go get it. Now I'll be up all nite. I was one of those kids that couldnt wait to play with his toys. Thanks for your help!!

Hey 410,
Just wondering if the stock starter with the new flywheel will work ok together? And will the 91 torque conv work with the newer flywheel too? Thanks

I take it you got the motor? If you need one still I have a 95 ohv (direct swap) sitting at my house here in fredericksburg.

Yea picked it up a couple of weeks ago and I'm waiting for some time off to install. Thanks for the offer though.

Well if anyone cares, I installed the new motor this week. It runs perfect minus the 41 error I'm getting. I had to install the O2 sensor in the other header, because it wouldn't fit on the right side. I had to make an extention for the connector because the stock cable was to short. I think I may have messed it up.

you shouldnt have had to do anything with the exhaust sensors if you used the 91 wiring harness. I just did a similar swap--but it was from a 94 X that had EGR crap and had to swap upper intake and driver's exhaust manifold (could have just plugged the EGR hole on the exhaust manifold, but I had a broken stud anyway...

It was a fitment issue with the BBK headers. The bung for the sensor was at an angle towards the tranny and the sensor would not fit between. The nice thing about the BBK's is that they have bungs on both sides and a stem for EGR if needed. Its nice to see someone taking the time to think things out.
