Hi. One of my stock foglights is cracked and I was going to replace them with some aftermarkets. These are the round lights in the lower valence. It looks like there isn't really a way to take the light mount out from the back and if I can figure out how to get the chrome piece off in the front then I can take them right out. I see the two or three screws but there's a clip thing and possibly something else hidden that's holding that piece in there. Can anyone give me some ideas or let me know if there's a better way to get those lights out without breaking things?

They do come off from behind. There are (I think, it's beena while since I removed them) three bolts holding htem on. THere are two on top and one on the bottom. One of the top ones is completely hidden and is a real PITA to remove. You have to reach up and underneath the bumper to feel it. It's on the outside, towards the side on the front of the bracket. Once you get all three bolts off, the whole thing comes right out.

Yeah, I think I have three on top and one on the bottom. I noticed those but didn't see how to reach the one hidden one. Hmm, I'll have to go try it and see what I can work out

Here is how you do it ............

Remove the fog lamp assembly.
1 Disconnect the fog lamp bulb electrical connector.
2 Remove the bolts.
3 Remove the fog lamp assembly.
If necessary, transfer the fog lamp bulb to the new fog lamp assembly.
INSTALLATION

WARNING: THE HALOGEN BULB CONTAINS GAS UNDER PRESSURE. THE BULB MAY SHATTER IF THE GLASS ENVELOPE IS SCRATCHED OR IF THE BULB IS DROPPED. HANDLE THE BULB ONLY BY ITS BASE. AVOID TOUCHING THE GLASS ENVELOPE.

NOTE: The fog lamp bulb should not be removed from the fog lamp until just before a replacement bulb is installed. Removing the bulb for an extended period of time may affect fog lamp bulb performance. Contaminants may enter the fog lamp where they can settle on the lens and reflector. Never turn on the fog lamps with the bulb removed.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Yeah, it's removing those bolts that I'm having a problem with. I was able to get one side out but I'm having a hard time with that hidden third bolt on the top of the other side. Once that's out I should be in good shape. Thanks
