With ac selected on cold to both sides, im getting warm outside air on driver side and cold on passenger. I checked actuator on driver side and it works. Also removed radio and controls and I can see that the door is in position for cold as well.
With that being said, oddly enought the passenger side is cold on AC but will not get hot on heat. So i checked that actuator and indeed it is broke. I live in louisiana so it dont need heat therefore I dont plan on changing that actuator anyyime soon.
My PROBLEM is that I cant understand why im not getting cold air through driver vents though. All of the recirculate settings as well as dash/floor settings work when chosen. I can even see the two vacuum actuators working/reaponding properly.
In fact when my driver side ac is selected to cold i can look down in the box and see the coils just as I do inside passenger vent when the door is open….. this just doesnt make sense.
Oh!, I also tried disconnecting the vacuum line to the heater core control valve and that didnt help the driver aide get cold either. My next move was going to be to bypass the heater core itself in case i were getting heat from that but I just dont understand how that would affect anything if my blend door is in the proper position already. And if it were the case then neither side would blow cold.
SOMEONE PLEASE HELP IF YOU HAVE SOLVED THIS BEFORE.
