can someone suggest a solution for this? am i supposed to just buy new trans cooler steel lines to put into these fittings? the stock ones are much thicker than the ones that come on the parts store radiators ...not exactly sure on thread maybe someone knows....i couldn't even get the old lines out of the old fittings with a quick disconnect tool so that i'd be able to put them in the new fittings that came with the radiator

any suggestions? i bought a couple different kinds of quick disconnect tools but maybe there are adapters to convert from stock size trans cooler line fitting to the thinner ones?

does anyone know if the stock ones are 5/8-18 ? i was thinking to get barb adapters and just put rubber hose on both sides

I had a hard time getting mine apart. My son used a very small hammer tapping around the tool into it. After a bit, it did come apart.

can anyone recommend which tool they use specifically for this? to disconnect the lines out of the radiator fittings?

there's a ridge that goes around the metal line that makes it very hard to get a tool around it and into that groove

Line wrench?

no i mean i have to take the metal line out of the fitting in order to put it into the new fitting that comes with the radiator - the new ones are 1/2" and the stock ones are 5/8"
